Small Ants

Under Kitchen Cabinets!

There is a trail of small ants moving from under the baseboard and then up the leg of the cabinet. We have applied a (green) protein based bait and (translucent) sugar based bait to exterminate this ant infestation from a home in Toronto in 2014.

The three light brown color arrows point to these bait placements whereas the red-brown path illustrates ant’s travel direction.

Pavement Ants

Taking care of Pupae

A nest in the garden was disturbed.

The pavements ants are struggling to manage the situation. We have placed a one dollar Canadian coin (a loonie) in the background for perspective on the dimensions. The ants are trying to salvage their pupae and the remains of their home.

Carpenter Ants

Enjoying Sugar based bait

By the baseboard, we applied both protein based (green) and sugar based (translucent) bait. These carpenter ants are happily feasting on the sugar based bait. Within 2-3 days these ants were gone for good.

Drone

Carpenter Ant

Here lies a dead drone of carpenter ants.

Drones look scary for their larger size and wings. These are male Carpenter Ants for sole purpose to mate with a queen and keep their infestation spreading farther and wide.
