Perspective on Bed Bugs' Size:
Bed Bugs are of varying sizes depending upon their stage of life. An Adult BedBug is about the size of an Apple Seed. They are of Oval shape and some of them are more elongated than others.
Please, click on the Image to Enlarge it  BedBug on Human Skin:Bed Bugs would sneakily move onto their host as not to be noticed. They are primarily attracted to host by Cabon Dioxide and warmth. They would feed on human blood for 5-10 minutes.
Please, click on the Image to Enlarge it  The Flatness of BedBug Bodies:Bed Bugs have little Height compared to their Length and Width. That is they are Flat bodied. This allows them to hide very easily into Craks, Slits and Gaps.

Among the Signs of BedBug's Presence is their Feces:As Bed Bugs feed and lay eggs and shed some skins at various stages, only seeing their feces is proof enough that you have them. Their feces are easily visible and would leave a streak if tried to be smudged. They are almost black and can be easily felt to a touch.

Here you clearly see several bed bugs and many black dots. These dots are a clear tell tale sign of their presence! The red line drawn in the picture points out the mattress tuft.
